We had our morning devotional as a small group and discussed how Faith is needed in everything we do.
Our classes met earlier today since it\'s Saturday. We arrived to the church at 9:30AM and finished our business plans with all our students.
After lunch, we heard testimonials and the theme was that the class and church leadership is fully blessed having our team help them with their visions for business.
We said that we are the ones who were being served and that we were being trained to go back to the states and serve.
After our class was dismissed, we visited the town of Antigua and shared a great meal with our host family.
Tomorrow we go home.

Had a great night sleep and a better devotion in the AM. Visited 2 previous students of the business development course.
The first was a couple, Luis and Sylvia who have taken over a greenhouse cuttings business. A testimony for God, since a volcanic eruption last year caused the entire farm to be destroyed. Only through God\'s hand can such a great testimony.
Angelino, an owner of a funeral home business, was the other graduate. He has developed a growing business and is very thankful for the help from the business training group. The evening classes continued and we made great progress with the students business plans.
Thanks to all for your support. God is working great works down here.

Today was a full day fo all.
A 7AM worship with Herman with praise and worship. A touching testimonial from the Medical Mission Group who visited Juan Carlos who is a village pastor and how he is being used by God. Reaching into the communities with an intimacy with God allows us to be intimate with others to serve. Herman encouraged us to forgive ourselves and others to be able to be unimpeded to serve as a tool for God.
After the mid-morning review of our students, we set off to visit a prior graduate of the program who is now runs a shoe manufacting company. Mario and his wife Isabelle, now own a company that produces up to 150 pairs of shoes a day and have three additional employees.
In the evening training course, we broke into groups and started the \"heavy lifting\" of business planning and dug deep into the financial worksheets. We asked the hard questions to get a clear picture. At the end of the course, we heard heart-felt testimonials from the students giving thanks to God for our team being there to support their vision and desires of owning a business to support their families and build stronger communities.
Piled into the van, late, and poured ourselves into our beds for a well deserved night\'s sleep.

In the morning, we had a 2.5 hour worship with Herman and another mission team from Canton, GA. There are about 30 folks in that group, so we had around 50 people praising and worshipping God.
Herman spoke about how we are to influence the world and not to be influenced. We were commissioned to go out and build relatioinships to gain trust and then influence.
Later in the afternoon, we visited Estraudo\'s family at their home and prepared for the evening\'s first meeting with the business development participants at the Rivers of Grace church.
In the evening, we presented to group of participants and broke into small groups. The business ideas ranged from selling chickens and eggs to office supplies.
Afterwards, at around 10PM, we made our way back, in the rain, to fall exhausted into our beds. Smiling.

After only a 70 minute delay at ATL airport (on the plane) due to 4 pieces of luggage being unaccounted for, we made it to Guatemala City safe and sound.
Once we landed, Matt prayed that we would invoke the power of the Holy Spirt to move us and that we would be moved in ways that we have never been before.
We were greeted by Estuardo and Angelino who gave us a lift to the Medical Mission facility where we quickly found our rooms. The weather is pretty fair with overcast skies. Rain is off an on but overall great.
We were able to get a dinner in together and later grabbed some breakfast items.
Looking forward to our morning devotional lead by Herman followed by a visit to some previous students. Our training starts tomorrow afternoon.
Please continue to pray for safety, guidance and to be lead by the spirit.

We have packed, verified our travel records and are ready to go!
We\'ll meet at Perimeter at 7AM tomorrow morning and caravan to ATL airport.
We\'ll be flying down on Delta DL0461 arriving in GT at 11:20AM GT time, which is 2 hours behind ATL time.
Weather for the week forecasts thunderstorms (everyday) with the high in the mid 70\'s. We\'ll be inside most times, so the rain won\'t impede our efforts.
Looking forward to seeing how we are to be used.
