Greetings All,

We feel your prayers . They are powerfull and effective.

Yesterday afternoon we had 3 consulting sessions with the students.

We meet with Louis, Samuel, and Pat.Each had a different line of questions and the time proved to be very valuable to them. We continued to teach throught the phase 3 material last night but before we started Estuardo through the power of the Holy Spirit made all of us weep in the room . To the point that Whit ( the new guy) was almost unable to teach. Very powerful....  

The week is going very well. The students will graduate today at about 2 PM after we complete the teaching on finances.  Terry sent us a note this morning about a commissioning prayer. We will pray thi prayer over the students this afternoon with the pastors present.

Please pray with us for the following as they pursue their businesses and careers with their new visions and skills.

"Heavenly Father, I proclaim that I am totally willing that the Holy Spirit would fill me and that the Holy Spirit would seek out and heal all of the areas of my body, mind, soul and spirit where Satan uses lies, doubts and fears to limit me in serving you and others.

Through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I claim my right to freedom in fulfilling my purpose and calling in Christ. If there are any beliefs and lies that others have established in my past life that Satan is using to block my ability to let the Holy Spirit reign or to limit my freedom to fulfill the potential you have placed in me, I declare my desire and willingness to have the Holy Spirit remove them.

I ask that you send down warring angels to defend me in my pursuit of a life and business dedicated to advancing your Kingdom here on earth, as it is in Heaven."

This is in line with Hermann's comments to us last year about the power we have been given through Jesus Christ and the need for the Guatemalan people to be able to cast off the oppression (literal and metaphoric) and bondage to which they have been subjected for a long time. Here is the scripture Hermann gave us:

Luke 9:1:

"When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases"

Can't remember the book, chapter and verse for the following:

"Truly, truly, I say to you, who believe in me; the things I do, you will do

- and even greater"

Luke 4:18-19

"The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

 'The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

      because he has anointed me

      to preach good news to the poor.

   He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners

      and recovery of sight for the blind,

   to release the oppressed,

   to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.'"

After a super mid day Thursday lunch with Estuardo and family at Polo Camperios we drove to the church to meet with a student also named Estuardo to review his business questions and plan. We started out with a powerful prayer and then got into the specifics of the marketing plan and financials. Most of our Kingdom Business students will admit some degree of fear about starting. We strive to listen as much as we can and also ask lots of questions of the students to draw out the ideas and challenges. Our team talks through the information and we share our council. At the end of our two hour session Estuardo has decided to start out small with a test market of release of 5 dispensers and then evaluate the success after a certain period of time.

Just before the group session stared at 7 PM we had a severe thunder storm . We could not even hear ourselves talk. It was that loud!  But still came . Amazing..... We had a great time reviewing the areas that need to be managed in a business and how to create and delivery real and distinct value. Whit and I integrated lots of question in the teaching so it was interactive and interesting. Tonight Estuardo will also be teaching our in country team leader.

This morning the team that was staying at the mission center left to fly home so Whit and I are debriefing on last night and preparing for the afternoons scheduled 4 consulting session and then the master teaching again tonight.

We sense the power of the Lord in this place and we are thankful for the opportunity to serve Him.

Thank you for your prayer cover . Tomorrow we teach all day and then graduate the class 2010. The devil would like nothing more than to kill steal and rob these King Business start ups from starting. Placing doubt and fear in the minds of the graduates. Please pray in Christ and through to counteract this from happening.  

We are keeping our eyes on Tropical Storm Matthew could be interesting on Sunday ... The day we are planning to fly home. Please pray for this also. Blessings Whit and David

 Greetings from Guatemala City.

Whit and I arrived yesterday midday. As we flew into GUA we prayed over the land:Lord free the captives . Release the oppressed. Heal this nation. We ask and invite your spirit to move Lord God. Transform this nation to be a kingdom nation focused on living and serving you. We pray.

Estuardo my little brother picked us up and we went off to lunch to review the plans for the time we are in country. We are teaching BPI SMD/ MED phase 3 to about 20 remaining students. The students will graduate on Saturday and begin. Our phase 2 teaching team has recommended 5 companies be funded but the final decision will rest with Estuardo and the Showers of Grace business ministries team.

We also plan to meet with past graduates of the program and mentor ,coach  and pray.

My co laborer Whit is a new believer and it been really exciting to see him learn and pick up the spirit led approach so quickly.  I am excited for him and how God is moving in his life.

After our lunch meeting yesterday we went to Estuardos home and meet Gladys and the kids Javier and Dolce . We talked about the ministry over coffee and shared God stories unitl it was time to leave for the church to teach at 6 pm.

It was great to see the students again and get an update. One company owned by Louis and Silvia has already started and in the first month has already made a profit . They start with a time in the word every morning with the employees that now total 100... Yes 100!  That’s Kingdom Impact!  We boast in the Lord....

We mostly taught a phase 1 and phase 2 review and will start on Kingdom Operations tonight.

This morning we had a two hour devotional lead by Hector. A MMM team from Clinton TN is also at the mission center. What impressed me the most was trusting in the Lord completely. Committing in faith. Repenting and dying to sin. Sacrificing the world pleasures of the flesh for freedom, life and growth in the spirit.

After the devotional Herman gave us a tour on the MMM building expansion due to complete early next year. It will double capacity to receive team during peak summer months and allow volunteer Drs and others to come down and serve more medium term. Also there is a BPI suite ! During the off peak team times pastors will be invited in for training . Also there is a vocational work shop to teach a kingdom trade.

God is using the MMM platform and team in place. It’s exciting to witness the kingdom coming through the various channels he has placed in creation: Medical, Education , Business, Media, Government and so on.

We are consulting with three businesses this afternoon then another master group teaching tonight.
