The team members, including the 2 chaperones, are heading to the Mumbai airport now to make the long voyage home! Please be in prayer for Jonathan McCoy as he's running a fever and trying to decide whether to stay with our partners and rest up, or to get on the plane. The Lord is our Healer, and we lift up Jonathan to Him today.

Rains have made it difficult to get and Internet connection from which to update the blog. However we have good news: Ella is feeling much better as is everyone who was having stomach issues. People every now and then have discomfort but no major issues.
Praise God; the team split up yesterday and was able to visit two schools visiting in total more than 1483 kids.
Today we were able again to split and go to two schools visiting over 1179 children.
We have gotten caught out in the rain a few days. This rain can soak you to the core, but its so warm outside we don't catch cold ;)
We are looking forward to visiting our last school tomorrow with the possibility of some special visits in the afternoon. We will try to update you on them before we leave to come home tomorrow.

Finally got back into the city. Visited Pune and was able to speak to about 1018 students. Visited a ryan international school today and got to speak to three groups of students about 247 total.
While walking in the rain today some of us were able to give some children on the street some bracelets which lead to talking to them and praying with them.
Ella is not feeling well. Her stomach is bothering her and she is now resting and feeling better. Continue to pray for the health of the team.

Our second full day in India has officially come to a close! Today was very VERY wet due to the plentiful amounts of rain pouring down pretty much the entire day. This morning we woke up and ate breakfast on the roof (which was interesting since it was extremely windy and rainy) and then we headed back to G.D. Somani to do the program for the students again. It was a lot of fun although we did have to do some last minute improvising for the second session because we ended up having a lot of the same kids as the first time. Small group time was really neat because we got talk one on one with some of the kids and hear a lot about their culture and hobbies and things like that. They also taught us some Hindi which was really cool. We ate lunch at the school which was extremely spicy (as usual :) and some of the team ate some questionable food but everyone is fine so far so thats a blessing! Then we took another chaotic car ride back to the hotel to debrief and do devotionals. For those of you who have never been to India or heard about the driving, it is RIDICULOUS! In a nutshell, it is more or less a huge free for all. There are basically no lanes or traffic signals or stop lights and you literally skim past people walking by or on scooters. Slightly frightening. After a quick nap at the hotel, a few of us went to Gloria Jeans (an Americanesq coffee shop down the street) before dinner at 5 Spice. In case it wasn't inferred by the name, dinner was..... surprise surprise....spicy! A few of us took quite a few trips to the bathroom because of all the water we had to drink. After dinner we went to Kelly's apartment where we are now sitting around and eating ice cream. Yum! Namaste :)

Sorry about the delay in the blog. There were some computer issues at our hotel. We all made it in this morning to the hotel at 1am. We were informed that we need to be up and ready to go by 8am to go visit our first school G.D. Somani. So we were up until 2:30am finishing up our presentations. Our presentations went well today. We talked with approximately 100 students. We are not allowed to openly talk about the gospel at these two schools but we did come up with two skits that dealt with the good samaritan (sp?) and sowing seeds. We then got to break off into groups to talk with these students for about 20 minutes. Overall it went well. Tomorrow we go back for day 2 and Thursday for one more day at the same school. We ask you to pray that we be filled with the Holy Spirit and that we have ears to listen to what God would have us say and present to these students. Also that we would have hearts that would love each other and the students we are working with well.
We are headed to bed at 10pm tonight and don't have to be up until 7am so we look forward to getting a full nights rest. Health is good for everyone (except me, Jonathan). If you could pray that God would help me and my stomach which I have had issues with before we left that would be great. All of you parents should be very proud of your children and know that God is using them in mighty ways here.
Good night, God bless, and we will continue on this epic journey tomorrow.
For His Glory
Jonathan
