Dublin is a city of international influence. This European Headquarters of Google and others giants has been 3rd in world of GDP.
The spiritual climate of Ireland and Dublin is at an important juncture: they are disillusioned with the Catholic church and have had their faith in the "Celtic Tiger" weakened as well. In the words of one of their leaders, "we have one generation till we go the way of the rest of Europe."
Kingdom Value is created in the empowerment of indigenous leaders in a world-class city. They already have the cultural, relational capital to take Perimeter's unique strengths (Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship and Collaborative Church-Based City Transformation) and multiply them in their own city and abroad in ways we could not. We are partnering with Redeemer Church in NYC in our support of these leaders. Two Irish leaders attended the Transformation 09 conference at Perimeter in November 2009, and one is coming to the Community Formation Clinic at Perimeter February 24-March 2, 2010.

A Dublin Non-Resident Missionary Team at Perimeter needs to be established soon. Jonathan and Crystal Stamberg have been serving as the City Leaders since June 2009. They have already been over to Dublin and begun to develop relationships with potential partners.
