Here's an influential city of almost 4 million people. Perimeter helped plant a multi-racial church last year called Sophiatown; it's in an artsy neighborhood known as one of the birthplaces of jazz. The church members speak a total of 8 different languages. There is a strong Jo'burg Campus Outreach ministry. Twenty-four South African pastors and Campus Outreach staff attended the Transformation 09 conference at Perimeter in November 2009. Kingdom Value is created in the empowerment of Christian leaders who already live in a world-class city. They already have the cultural, relational capital to take Perimeter’s unique strengths (Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship and Collaborative Church-Based City Transformation) and multiply them in their own city and abroad in ways we could not.
