Nitin was born into and brought up in a Christian family in Umbri village in Yavatmal district in eastern Maharashtra. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of 14, but it was not until the age of 26 that God put His call upon Nitin to get involved with Din Bandhu. Over the past 15 years Nitin has seen the Lord use Din Bandhu to transform various people groups lives and communities with the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has seen God truly break the bondage that so many people groups live with in India due to the injustice brought on by the caste system. Nitin is involved in the day-to-day operations of the ministry in Yavatmal while he is also responsible for giving guidance and direction to both the Nagpur and Wardha ministry areas.
Nitin is joined in his ministry by his wife, Ruth, originally from Canada. Ruth spends much of her time raising four children; Sarah, Caleb, Paul, and Deborah. In addition, she also works alongside Smita Papade to minister to the women of Din Bandhu.
