Project CHILD provides the following for sponsored children, from their entrance into the program (toddler ? preschool) through Standard 7 or withdrawal from the program:

1. Food for the sponsored child five (5) days per week.
2. Clothing (quality school uniforms) two (2) times per year.
3. Blanket and mosquito netting for the home as needed.
4. Health monitoring and education
5. Medical care provided as needed.

1. An academic curriculum that is distinctively Christian and taught through a Biblical world-view.
2. A school environment with a strong commitment to excellence, registered with the Ministry of Education with the Tanzanian government.
3. A Christian school with competent teachers, who are carefully selected for their hearts for the Lord, gifting as teachers, evidence of Biblical integrity, and vision to impact children in the village where they work.
4. Teachers with training in Christian education, who are mentored on an on-going basis.
5. Small class sizes (maximum of 30 students), providing stronger, relational education.
6. A preschool sponsorship program as a feeder program for the Christian school.

1. Well-equipped, Godly, loving teachers and staff invest themselves daily in the lives of the children in the program.
2. Teachers and staff live in the village year-round and are actively involved in the local community and church.
3. Home visits by program staff/ teachers at least once per year to follow-up with the families.
4. Parent meetings with the teachers at the school at least once per term. Parents are invited and encouraged to be involved in the development of the school.
5. Each school has a committee that helps in the development, guidance, and education of parents.

1. The school operates as a Christian community, integrating Biblical truth in its curriculum, and presenting all its relationships with knowledge, the world, and each other from a Biblical worldview.
2. Daily times of worship and prayer to invoke the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit.
3. Bible and parenting classes for all mothers, fathers, and caregivers.
4. Service to local churches and pastors to bless the whole village with a heart of gratitude and stewardship.
5. Local church and pastoral leadership and guidance.

1. The opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of poor and impoverished children for His glory.
2. Possibility of mission trips to meet the sponsored child(ren).
3. The privilege of providing prayer support.
4. The blessings of seeing oneself as a part of the larger kingdom of God worldwide, and through the blessing of relationship with believers in Tanzania.
