Overview Warsaw

Perimeter member Jack Sanford started leading businessmen to Poland in the late 1990's and since that time we have expanded from that important base into a thriving next generation ministry, Gospel Joy, a powerful music ministry designed to win over the Next Generation in Poland through "Gospel Joy" music. Our own Allan Wiltshire has traveled to Poland to train, encourage, and, yes, perform in the wildly successful Gospel Joy concerts. These workshops and concerts have brought the message of the gospel to 1,000?s of mostly young Poles, who, most likely, would not have heard the Gospel otherwise. In February of 2009 the Gospel Joy Choir will visit Perimeter and other churches in the area. Perimeter also partners with Bread of Life ministries which provides food, clothes, counseling, rehabilitation, and many other Mercy and Justice services to the least and the lost of Poland. A firm foundation for all of these ministries is being formed in life on life missional discipleship. Discipleship training, new to Poland, started in early 2007 with a seminar by John Musselman who conducted The Training of the Twelve seminar to the majority of evangelical pastors in Poland and it has been followed up with training by Randy Pope in July of 2008 and a follow up clinic in early 2009. This past year has provided Perimeter to help in a powerful music ministry designed to win over the Next Generation in Poland through "Gospel Joy" music. Our own Allan Wiltshire has traveled to Poland to train, encourage, and, yes, perform in the wildly successful Gospel Joy concerts.

What's on the Horizon?

"Poland remains one of the least evangelized countries in the world today.  Every major Polish city boasts a magnificent cathedral, every town an imposing church building, yet the majority of those visiting them rarely have the opportunity to hear the gospel.  The image of the baby Jesus held by Mary is probably the most familiar image to any Polish person... yet , Christ has no bearing on the everyday lives of Polish families."-Andrew Bajenski, Polish evangelist and church planter-

Andrew formed a small church planting organization, "ProEcclesia," in order to address the problem cited above.  Earlier this year he turned over the reins to the two churches he established and pastored in Warsaw, and he plans to plant churches throughout Poland.  Perimeter plans to partner in this church planting ministry next year through business seminars and "Next Gen" Gospel Joy events.
