Journey Overview
Journey Description
If you've participated in Compassion in Action in Atlanta, you can do it in Europe! Our Polish partners are arranging a week-long CiA in a community outside of Warsaw where, like most of Poland, unemployment is high and the Protestant Church isn't always seen in a positive light. Jump into neighborhood transformation projects addressing homelessness and low-income families. In addition, come alongside the local church and with volunteers from all over Europe to clean up playgrounds, paint, and run a sports/games program for kids. Be the good news and then share the good news. To get a feel for the people & culture, you?ll visit some sites, including the Auschwitz concentration camp. Good trip for families with children age 13 and up.
