A word from the Global Outreach staff:
Our vision in India is to come alongside our partners in Mumbai and Central India to help them make mature and equipped followers of Jesus Christ in order to accomplish their vision for holistic transformation of the city and communities. Some of the ways in which we seek to do this is through providing adequate drinking water to those in Central India, introducing pastors and leaders to the concepts of life on life missional discipleship and training men and women how to establish viable businesses that will contribute to the community and support Christian ministries. About Mumbai, India:
When the prophet Habakkuk complained that God didn't answer his pleas and prayer, God's response was: "Look at the nations and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told." Hab 1:5 That is descriptive of the move of God in India - a nation that now is being projected to become a Christian nation, "the largest Christian democracy in the world" within our lifetime.
