Tanzania General Donation
A word from the Global Outreach staff:
We work in the Central and Northeastern quadrants of Tanzania alongside local pastors of both large and small churches. With an estimated population of over 35 million people, most live in great poverty and at least 50% do not know Christ. We are working to build pastoral capacity through the provision of 8-10 regional seminars with our partner IMARA, Discipleship Training and a variety of local supporting unity seminars. We also help facilitate and teach church caregivers to become the village/city resource for HIV/AIDS prevention. With work being done in a local elementary school, outreach to widows and orphans and a child sponsorship program continually growing, these are only a few of the opportunities we need your help with. About Tanzania:
Quietly, in the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Spirit is sweeping through the Sub-Saharan country of Tanzania and uniting pastors - and Perimeter has had the privilege of watching that movement, especially in the village of Karanse. There is a place for Perimeter members in women's and youth ministry, equipping of pastors, micro-enterprise development, and widow and orphan care. Perimeter has been serving in Tanzania for 4 years through ministries of "Word" and "Deed," seeking to show mercy and compassion and administer true justice through the indigenous church.
